Facial Cleansing Procedure at Home
Keep your skin protected from harmful sun rays, pollution, and other environmental hazards by cleansing it regularly.

There are many methods of facial cleansing, but the first step is always to identify the type of skin you have. Various products are used for facial cleansing, and these products differ depending on the type of skin. People have different types of skin, including dry skin, oily skin, and mixed skin. In addition, some people are prone to having sensitive skin, which requires extra care.

You can prevent damage to the skin caused by pollution, ultraviolet rays, and other environmental factors by maintaining a regular facial hygiene routine.

Let's start

Start by laying the person down on a bed, covering the hair with a hair cap and an apron. Cleaning the face first with special cleansers is necessary. Various cleansers are available depending on the type of skin. Using oil-controlling cleansers is important when the person here has oily skin. To complement your cleanser, apply a toner afterward.

The next step after cleaning the face with special cleansers is to use scrubs. The abrasion action of scrubs helps remove dead skin cells.

A face massage is next. Although it is often performed as part of the facial cleansing procedure, it can also be performed on its own. In order to give an effective massage, you should clean the person's face, wash your own hands, and trim your nails.

After you've prepared the basics, use massage oil to moisturize your hands before massaging the face. There are also various types of massage oils. The best ones are those with nutritional values. These could include sesame oils, rose oils, or wheat germ oils. In general, any kind of nutrient-rich oil is suitable.

There is no fine line between facial messages and relaxation treatments. No matter what form the facial message takes, the most important thing is that it increases and improves blood circulation and prepares the face to receive the next treatment.

Facial messages generally consist of several steps. In the first step, you use soft movements. Most of these movements are from the bottom to the top. For this level, you will fully touch your face with your hand. As the massage progresses, you may add more oil to your hand if it has been absorbed.

Point pressure is the next step in the process. It can be rotational movements on the chin and cheeks. This step involves pressing several points on the face with your fingers. The pressure you apply will be on imaginary and literal points on your face, and you can stimulate the points four to five times each.

Afterward, you should lightly lift the skin with your fingertips on the different points of the face. Then, you should gently tap the face with your palms, followed by gently rubbing it with your hands. These steps should be repeated continuously and delicately. Place a warm wet towel on the face after the massage is over.

Steam machines used to be commonly used to soften the skin, but because of some side effects and the fact that it can also cause dryness, now it's more common to use warm towels. You should let the towel stay on the face for two to three minutes to soften your skin. This will make scrubbing easier.

Apply the scrub cream to the face with a sterile stick. If the person has oily skin, you should use a medium scrub. Rotational movements should be used to massage the face for three minutes, especially for areas with dark pimples or high levels of germ.

You can get deeper cleansing using Hydradermabrasion technique (otherwise known as HydraFacial). This method is based on Iontophoresis, which introduces medical compounds to the skin through an electric current. HydraFacial machines are designed to remove excess oil from the skin. The probe is used for three to five minutes. If the probe is lifted from the face, you need to shut it down, put it back on, and then tune the machine after turning it back on.

To help relax the person, you can apply a towel smeared with essential oil to their face after this process. In order to achieve the best results, you should leave the towel on the person's face for about five minutes. At this point, all the skin pores are open, so this can be a soothing compression technique.

The last step in a facial cleansing procedure is to use a facial mask. Masks used in this procedure have powerful effects such as lightening, cleansing, and oil removal. However, you can modify the type of mask you use depending on the skin type.

Make sure to use sterile and clean tools to remove the mask from the container. You should always put the mask on the skin with a sterile stick. When using a scrub or mask, you should always keep them far away from the eyes, nose, and mouth. The mask does not need to be massaged. Just let it sit on the skin for about twenty minutes, depending on the skin type. If you want a lighter effect, you can wait less time after applying the mask.

You have now completed your facial cleansing procedure. The process you learned here is a gentle, non-aggressive technique for cleansing your face. It can be used both as a preventive and meditative method.

After washing off the mask from the face, moisturizers and sunscreen creams should be applied. The skin is extremely sensitive after this procedure and the pores are open, so it is more prone to damage. At this point, the skin will require more attention, especially sunscreen and avoidance of direct sunlight.
