Microdermabrasion And Face Masks
Microdermabrasion almost always needs to be started by applying a face mask.

The topic we will discuss today is microdermabrasion, which is a cosmetic treatment used to improve general skin tone and texture.
Microdermabrasion almost always needs to be started by applying a face mask. The main reason is that the skin of some people may be excessively dry or greasy. Starting Micro-dermabrasion without prior preparation may cause more damage to the skin, and the person may suffer deep lasting spots on their faces. To prevent this, we should first do a mask treatment to make the skin ready for microdermabrasion. Then, once the skin has recovered and the superficial issues have been addressed, we can begin microdermabrasion.

There are two types of microdermal techniques: powder microdermal and diamond microdermal. In contrast to powder microderm, which has medical applications and requires a doctor's presence, diamond microderm, which is available on the market, can be performed in a beauty salon. This means that you can get the permit to do diamond micro-derm at your beauty salon since it has minimal side-effects and does not hurt the skin.

Using microdermal props we stimulate the epidermis beneath the surface of the skin. These props come in different colors - pink for greasy skin, blue for normal skin, white for dry skin, and brown for extremely greasy skin.

For microdermabrasion, the suction pressure we use is very important. If the suction pressure exceeds 2000 degrees, bruises will likely appear on the skin. Try to maintain a suction pressure between 1500 and 2000 degrees for the face. You can adjust the suction level between 2500 and 4000 degrees for any other part of the body.

Microdermabrasion tracking technique plays an important role in the process. Some customers have an unpleasant experience after microdermabrasion, as they felt sagging skin afterwards. This feeling of sagging skin lasts for between 3-7 days, causing customer dissatisfaction.

Essentially, the sagging of the skin is caused by the incorrect movement of the props during the procedure. As different parts of the face require different types of movements, if the props are moved from bottom to top against gravity you will not experience sagging.

In addition, diamond props should be cleaned for every customer with Deconex and autoclave cleaners. This can take anywhere between 2 and 24 hours. Additionally, suction hoses should be changed after 2 to 3 microdermal sessions.

Cleaning duration depends on the skin reaction of your customer. For example, if your customer has acne or you see bleeding during the procedure, then put the props in deconex for 24 hours followed by autoclaving. While for normal tracking procedures, two to twelve hours in Deconex and then in an autoclave device would be sufficient.

If you feel the prop suction, you can feel air flow and suction. There are filters on the end of the suction hose that absorb dead skin, and these filters should also be changed every six months.

During microdermabrasion, you can see all acne come out of the skin. When someone has thick and deep black-heads on their skin that have sealed the pores, you must stimulate the skin first with a humidifier and then manually remove the black-heads.

It is normal for inflammation, redness, and irritation to occur during this procedure since we are stimulating the layers beneath the epidermis. Therefore, if your customer reports feeling pain or irritation, it is normal that the pressure and suction are causing those side-effects.

Where the dark spots are more visible on the skin, you should focus more on that part by slowing your hand down and increasing the pressure slightly.

When should lifting props be used?

There are lifting props on microdermabrasion devices that can be used if your customer requests only mask treatments and micro-derm treatments and does not want micro-needling done.

Therefore, you can start to use lifting props on smile lines, frown lines as well as the neck. You may see some inflammation and redness, but you will see that the dark spots on the microdermabrasion area have been faded.

What to do after a mask treatment

Mask treatments are useful for many people in the beauty industry such as makeup artists, wedding makeup professionals, and specialized cosmetics experts. They can undergo mask treatments before applying makeup to improve skin condition, remove spots and eliminate wrinkles, leaving the skin smooth and strong.

As previously mentioned, inflammation and redness after microdermabrasion are normal during the healing process. Collagen strands are able to repair the skin very fast, and the technician can use them right away.

Why are these masks useful?

Essentially, the masks do exactly what you want biorejuvenation or mesotherapy to do, but you can get the result you want sooner. Both results are long-lasting and with no return.

In the event that you see strong inflammation on the skin surface after the procedure, you can use a mask right away to soothe the skin, but you should preferably wear sterile gloves to avoid infection. It is recommended to massage your skin for about 20 minutes while wearing gloves. As you massage and absorb the serum on your skin, tap the tip of your finger gently on the skin to help the serum absorb into the skin.

Furthermore, serums can be used to complete the anti-wrinkles, anti-sports, and hydration of the skin during the week.

For makeup artists, serums can also be very useful. Before applying makeup, you need foundation, so you can apply the serum before applying the foundation for a better result. It moisturizes the skin, smoothes the wrinkles, and hides the spots.
